Leading Norfolk PR Agency Wins Three

PR Awards

Leading Norfolk PR agency, Jungle Public Relations Ltd, (www.junglepr.com), located near Norwich, has beaten off stiff competition from East Anglia’s top PR talent to win a clutch of accolades at this year’s prestigious CIPR PRide Awards, held at the Radisson Hotel at Stansted Airport on Monday 7th December 2009.

The Norfolk PR agency, founded by managing director, Kate Morfoot five years ago, won two Gold Awards for ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy 2009’ and ‘Best Campaign £10k and Under’ for ZAKS Restaurants’ in Norwich, and was a finalist in ‘Best Media Relations Campaign’ for Hawkin’s Bazaar’ toy shops in Suffolk.

Mrs Kate Morfoot said: “Jungle Public Relations celebrated its fifth birthday recently and to win these top PR awards is recognition that in East Anglia our work has been judged to be among the best. It is great for clients to see we are continually striving to improve and a huge morale boost for the Jungle team.”

The CIPR Awards is the only scheme which showcases the best PR work being carried out across the UK regions and nations and sets industry standards. There are 24 award categories and the judging process is rigorous, with a national panel of industry experts who asses the shortlisted entries and choose the winners.

The CIPR awards have gone from strength to strength and this year there were over 1,400 entries and 13 areas taking part UK-wide.

Speaking about why the company won the top award for the ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy’ the judges commented that they liked the uncomplicated entry and felt the evaluation and analysis of performance was well-expressed. The results information helped to give the judges a rounded view of a highly-active consultancy. The judges also liked the listing of the outstanding achievements, which Jungle included in the entry, and really felt the passion and pride the team exudes.

Kevin Bentley, Chair of CIPR East Anglia said: “A CIPR PRide Award is a hallmark of professionalism and success – it identifies, recognises and rewards the outstanding achievements of those working in the PR industry outside of London.  To win a CIPR PRide Award is a tremendous achievement and I congratulate all of this year’s winners.”

In 2007, Jungle Public Relations won Gold for ‘Best Use of Media Relations’ for BeWILDerwood and Silver for ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy.’
